The Louisiana Workforce Commission is disputing claims numbers released in a White House report earlier today. The report says over the past three years, $497 million have been overpaid. At 44%, the U.S. Department of Labor says it's the highest percentage of improper employment payments in the nation.

But Louisiana Workforce Commission Executive Director Curt Eysink says those numbers are wrong. Eysink believes the actual number for improper unemployment payments is around $250-million over the last three years. He says that's still too high and they're working to resolve the issue.
