18-wheelers shouldn't get bigger. That's what Louisiana and two neighboring states are thinking according to AAA.

A survey of  members shows that Louisiana residents are opposed to allowing the trucks to go from 80,000 lbs to 97,000 lbs and allow them to have muli-trailer configurations to make them longer.

AAA's Don Redman says that many think the truck are big enough and if they were to allow them to be bigger, it would become too much of a road hazard.
