Acadiana Car Thief Is Being Sought
Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office are working to crack the case of a man who made off with, and destroyed someone else's truck.
The crime happened on Sunday April 7, when a man can be seen on video surveillance getting out of another car, and then taking off in the stolen vehicle.
Deputies say the man is a black male with a thin build, and he was wearing shorts, white tennis shoes along with a light colored hooded shirt.
The suspect stole the truck from Bayou Plaquemine Road, and then he drove it out to LuRose Drive in Crowley, but that wasn't all.
Investigators say the suspect did some major damage to the truck when he wrecked it.
