A Louisiana fisherman caught a little more than he was expecting on a recent outing to the Red River near Natchitoches on Sunday. He reeled in a car.

(Okay, maybe he just found the car and didn't actually land it in the boat with a mere 20-pound test line.)

According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office, the fisherman observed the vehicle in the Red River while fishing. He reported it to authorities around 2:30 pm.

NPSO Divers, along with the assistance of a Red River Parish towing service, were able to recover the vehicle later in the afternoon.

Deputies said the vehicle was a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. It was also unoccupied.
