Accused Child Kidnapper Seen In New Iberia

Officials in Iberia Parish are investigating a possible sighting of a suspect in the case of an abduction and sexual assault of a Colorado girl. Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Cpt. Ryan Turner says the initial call came from a woman whose purse was taken at a bar in New Iberia that captured the incident on a surveillance camera. 27-year old Bret Thompson is wanted by officials in Denver for abducting an 8-year-old girl.
