Are Networks Causing Undue Panic? [OPINION]
Are news agencies sensationalizing, causing undue panic over the gentleman in Dallas with Ebola?
I walked into the control room today, and this is what was on the television screen:
Do you think that this one case of Ebola in Dallas is worthy of so much pontification? Are you concerned with an Ebola outbreak?
Don't get me wrong, I understand the severity of Ebola. But, at this point, his immediate family members are quarantined for 3 weeks, and the schools his children attend are being monitored daily. There have been no signs of infection, other than the gentleman who is currently hospitalized.
Is the sky falling? Or are they taking it too far? Does CNN stand for Causing uNnecessary Nervousness?
