On Sunday President Obama's chief re-election strategist, David Axelrod blamed Standard & Poor's downgrade of the country's credit rating on the Tea Party.  Read more of my opinion below.Axelrod doesn't seem to understand that the real problem is the fact that the President is listening to people such as himself instead of the American people.  Remember, only 8% of the President's cabinet has ever held a non-government job or owned a small business.  Of course these people will have a different view of everything from welfare, to the economy, to health care and even to defense spending.

Axelrod playing this large a part in national affairs proves to me that President Obama is more worried about the election than the welfare of the country.
Axelroad says the US credit rating downgrade is the fault of TEA party conservatives who made raising the federal debt ceiling a political issue....it is a political issue no matter how you slice it!
David Axelrod said about the credit rating downgrade, "That clearly is on the backs of those who were willing to see the country default, those very strident voices in the tea party."  Axelrod told the CBS program "Face the Nation." "The TEA party brought us to the brink of a default."  The TEA party, like most conservatives I think don't want the country to default, but want the country to quit spending more money than it makes.  Plain and simple Mr. Axelrod, "it's the spending, stupid".  The TEA party didn't bring us to the brink of default, continued, reckless spending by Congress and the President did.

I think in coming months TEA party voices and voices not associated with any organization will be louder than ever because the American worker is fed up with the lack of leadership in Washington and it's failure to listen.
