“The Lafayette Food Junkie Show,” which has been airing from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday nights here on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL, has given Lafayette and the Acadiana area its own show dedicated to the food we all love to enjoy and talk about since November of 2013!

On this week’s show, Tiffiany Decou, the “Lafayette Food Junkie,” Brandon Comeaux (filling in for Chef Zack Doise) and producer Seth Hulin discussed two topics: eating on a budget and Mexican food here in Lafayette Parish.

The trio discussed cooking at home, which not only saves money but can taste great and be healthy for you. They also discussed great deals that restaurants here in Lafayette offer, such as cheap but filling plate lunches and certain menu items at restaurants that leave your belly full and your wallet a little bit lighter.

Tiffiany also talked about her tour of Mexican restaurants here in Lafayette Parish and highlighted her favorites. Tiffiany and the guys also had a conversation about the differences between authentic mexican restaurants and Tex-Mex restaurants.
