'The Git Up' singer Blanco Brown was able to meet one of his idols for the duet of a lifetime.

You may know Brown for his viral line dance that took off over the summer during the country hip-hop hype that was sparked by Lil Nas X and his hit single 'Old Town Road' but his history with country music runs way deeper than that.

The two were introduced while on individual trips to Australia and according to Taste Of Country, Brown explained to McGraw why the song was so important to him and how hearing the 1994 classic made him want to

live his life with purpose and not to "make my street circumstances a reality."

McGraw revealed that he was a "big fan" of Brown's and suggested that the two should do "more work together."

Check out the two as they trade lyrics to "Don't Take The Girl" over an acoustic backing track. Does anyone else think they should re-record this as a duet?
