Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball returns to the friendly confines of the Cajundome, following a lengthy stint away, when they play host to the Lamar Cardinals, in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

Louisiana, who hasn't played at home since November 29, fell to McNeese St., 77-72, on Saturday night, dropping them to 3-6 on the season, while Lamar, who lost a lot of firepower from last season's NCAA team, due to graduation, has been struggling, and come in with an overall record of 1-7.

The Cajuns are led by freshman center Shawn Long, who is averaging 16.9 points, along with 9.0 rebounds-per-game, the Cardinals are paced by senior forward Stan Brown, who is averaging 10.3 points, and 6.5 rebounds a contest.

The all-time series between the two schools is tied, at 41-41, with Lamar winning the last game, 80-63, a year ago.

Tip-off time is set for 7:05 pm.

You can catch all the play-by-play action on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420.com, as well as Hot 107.9, and 1079ishot.com, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:35 pm.
