Report: Chick-fil-A Location Coming To Broussard

There is (soon-to-be) a new Chick-fil-A in town.

According to a report from The Advocate, Broussard will be getting a Chick-fil-A location off St. Naziare road in front of the former Weatherford International location.

The Advocate says their source claims the restaurant originally planned to move to a location across the street closer to the Walmart/Home Depot development but a Raising Canes location in the development prohibited them from doing so.

John Arton is a local Chick-fil-A franchisee with locations on Ambassador, Louisiana Avenue, and in the Acadiana Mall, but it is unclear if he will be operating this rumored location in Broussard.

There is been reported activity at the old Weatherford site and groundbreaking is said to be coming soon. Let's just hope they plan enough space for an extended drive-thru.
