Cortez To Run For State Senate

State Representative Page Cortez announces he will run for the soon-to-be-vacated State Senate District 23 this fall. Senator Mike Michot currently holds that seat, but because of term limits, he must step down after this fall's elections. Cortez says his decision is a commitment to the State of Louisiana and requires the full support of his family. Cortez is finishing his first term in the Louisiana House.
