Crowley’s Acadia General Names New CEO

Heather Harper has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

Harper is currently COO of Southern Tennessee Medical and Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Winchester, Tennessee. She has extensive experience in hospital administration. Her previous posts include: CEO at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski,TN, CEO at Phillips County Health Systems in Phillipsburg, Kansas and as Ethics Compliance Officer at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas.

Lafayette General President and CEO David Callecod said of Harper,

Heather Harper is well accomplished in hospital administration. Her background makes her an ideal candidate to bring Acadia General into the culture of excellence we work so had to cultivate within our system. I know that Heather will be an exceptional fit for the facility and will be a community leader as well.

Harper will assume the position of CEO at Acadia General on June 16, 2014.
