A huge benefit will be held Saturday, September 7th at Blackham Coliseum, from 10am - 8pm. The family fun day will include a concert and auction to raise funds for the private search for UL student Danielle Wright and 6 others missing from the 70’ yacht Nina.

The governments of the US, New Zealand, and Australia have given up the search.

Danielle’s parents, Ricky and Robin Wright enlisted the aid of Texas Equusearch, who came to Lafayette to search for Mickey Shunick last year.

Doors will open at 9:30 AM.  Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for those under 21.  Geno Delafose, Travis Matte, Mackenzie Bourg, Dustin Ray and Southern Grove, American Heart Band, Mike Dean, Shawn and Lance Band, Beau Young, and Elvis Barker will perform.

Our Savior’s Church will lead a time of praise and worship at 6:30 PM, followed by personal messages from Danielle's parents Ricky and Robin Wright.

There will be live and silent auctions throughout the day. Items include vacation getaways, hunting trips, a 2013 Honda Rancher ATV, and much more.

Donations and corporate sponsorships are still needed. Contact Robin Wright 337-234-7008 or email robinwlsu@gmail.com. To donate, contact Pennye Koch 337-280-7575 or email pkoch@archacoustics.net.
