Louisiana State Police, along with the Opelousas Police Department, continue their crackdown against impaired driving this week.

The sobriety checkpoint will be set up at an undisclosed location in St. Landry Parish. It will begin Thursday night from 9:00 p.m. and last until Friday morning at 3:00 a.m.

Troopers will have zero tolerance for violators. They will not only be looking for impaired drivers, but aggressive drivers and unrestrained occupants.

Troopers say if you plan to drink make sure you designate a driver. If you see an aggressive or impaired driver you can report them by calling *LSP (*577) or your local law enforcement agency.
