Enjoy A Movie And Give Life Saving Blood

(Lafayette, LA.)—United Blood Services will celebrate the new release of “Harry Potter” movie. Residents of Lafayette have a chance to donate blood and automatically become a part of the Donor Hero Rewards program.

Join the community blood drive from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Grand Theatre 14 South located at 2315 Kaliste Saloom Rd. Lafayette, LA.

Donors can give every 56 days and donations of all blood types are always needed but especially O-negative, which is the universal donor, meaning anyone can receive O-negative blood. People who have given at least three times and at least once in the past six months are eligible for a streamlined health interview before their donation. Donors are asked to bring a photo ID and donor card every time they donate. First-time donors will receive a card with their blood type in the mail shortly after their first donation.
