Lafayette, LA –Lafayette Consolidated Government and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) are pleased to host a presentation by Fred P. Hochberg, President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, at the invitation of City-Parish President Joey Durel and Congressman Charles Boustany.
 
This presentation will be held on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011, at the Lafayette Petroleum Club.  The event will provide businesses the opportunity to speak with government officials and experts about how to find new buyers and access useful marketing data and allow them to network with trade specialists.  The event is tailored to address the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
 
 
·         8:30am: Registration will start and a light breakfast will be served.
·         9:00am - 10:30am: Mr. Hochberg will outline the services which companies can use to increase their foreign sales.
·         10:30am - 11:15am: Specific cases will then be presented by several business owners.
·         11:15am – 12:30pm: A panel of SBA and EXIM-Bank officers will guide attendants through the application process. These officers will be available after the conference for one-on-one consultations.
