BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a 57-year-old Baton Rouge woman has pleaded guilty to defrauding a group of physicians by embezzling about $430,500.

On Friday, U.S. Attorney Walt Green said Lorrie Lynn Rogerson pleaded guilty to a wire fraud scheme to defraud the Pediatric Surgery of Louisiana, a group of Baton Rouge physicians who specialize in surgery on children. Prosecutors say she embezzled about $430,490 from PSL.

A sentencing date has not been set.

Prosecutors say she worked as the physicians' office manager and took care of payroll, financial accounts and human resources. Prosecutors say the money was embezzled between 2008 and 2015.
