that's

I must admit, the tree doesn't look great in this video. It appears lopsided with some branches hanging much lower than others. It seems that there may be "holes" on this side of the tree which, at home, can be turned to face the corner of the room. How do you "hide" them on a tree like this?

This year's Rockefeller Center tree is a 75-foot Norway Spruce that was felled in Oneonta, New York. It is estimated to be about 75 to 80 years old, is 45 feet wide, and weighs in at 11 tons. Once decorated, it will contain over 5 miles of light strings consisting of about 50,000 LED lights.

I am guessing that New York will do its New York thing and transform this small-town tree into a beautiful big-city attraction before it's all said and done.

Let's check back in with it after the decorations are complete.

The lighting of the tree will take place live on NBC Television on December 2, 2020.
