The Major League Baseball season is full of ups and downs, crazy moments, and trades. This season is no different with all the trades with big name players before the trade deadline. Jonathan Lucroy was traded from the Texas Rangers to a playoff contender in the Colorado Rockies for a player to be named later.

The former Cajun had his ups and downs in the Lone Star state but going to a playoff contender is always a good thing because you get a chance to win the whole thing. Lucroy  hit .242 with four home runs and 27 RBIs in 77 games with Texas this year, but the Rangers have two other catchers on their roster that want to utilize more.

This is the 2nd time that Lucroy has been traded within the last year. He was traded to the Rangers from the Milwaukee Brewers last year at the trade deadline and getting traded to the Rockies this year could boost his performance. We hope Lucroy continues to have a great MLB career.
