Four-term Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards is back home after a 2-day stay in the hospital. Edwards was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center Friday.

Wife, Trina Scott Edwards, said her 93-year-old husband was taken to the hospital after complaining of not being able to breathe. After being tested for COVID-19, pneumonia and the flu, the former governor was diagnosed with a really bad cold.

Mrs. Edwards took to Facebook saying, "2020 ain't woman enough to take my man!" She said he'll be good as new in a couple of days.

We'd like to thank everybody for all the prayers and concern. He's resting well and is already back to giving orders.-Trina Scott Edwards
