A former quarterback for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns has found a new home.

A four-time all-district selection at Helen Cox High in New Orleans, Ray redshirted the 2015 season at UL, before playing in five games in 2016, rushing 27 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns as the wildcat quarterback.

The 6-foot, 215-pound Ray rushed for a career-high 71 yards, as well as a touchdown against Georgia Southern that year, to go along with a rushing score against Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl.

In 2017, Ray appeared in nine games, rushing for 27 yards and four touchdowns.

Moved to receiver in 2018, Ray played sparingly in five games, recording no statistics.

We wish Dion the best of luck in Thibodaux.
