When the St. Thomas More Cougars and Teurlings Catholic Rebels meet up, the lights are always bright. With a possible district title on the line, there was a lot at stake in one of the biggest rivalry games in all of Acadiana.

The Cougars bested the Rebels, 42-14, thanks to Nate Cox's four touchdown passing performance and the STM defense. Linebacker Paul Laborde had a huge interception return for a touchdown and a forced fumble, and he spearheaded a defensive attack from STM that took Teurlings out of their element. With the win, STM is now in the driver's seat for their 18th district title.

We sent our fantastic high school photographer Ben Massey (literally, he's still in high school) out to St. Thomas More to capture all the action, and he came back with these incredible shots. If you see somebody you know, share the photo album with them.
