Garbage, Recycling Will Run Normal Schedule On Memorial Day In Acadiana

Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will run their regularly scheduled garbage and recycling collection routes this Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day in Lafayette Parish and throughout Acadiana.

All customers of both Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will be able to set their waste products out the evening before their regularly scheduled collection day during the upcoming week.  There will be no changes to waste collection schedule for the entire week of Memorial Day.

The Lafayette Consolidated Government Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Rd. will close at noon on Friday, remaining closed throughout the weekend and Memorial Day, and will reopen Tuesday, May 28.
