Holiday waste pickup will continue into the new year with shifted collection dates for some Lafayette Parish residents.

There will be no changes to waste collection schedule for the entire week of Memorial Day.

A series of mini-explosions at the Recycling Foundation on Cameron Street have Lafayette Firefighters trying to put out the blaze.

Services were briefly interrupted during Hurricane Isaac.

Also, check to see what you are asked to do in order to get your excess garbage picked up on the entire week following Easter.

Mardi Gras is just around the corner, and that means some changes to your trash pickup schedule.

This Labor Day, Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will not run their regular garbage and recycling collection routes in Lafayette Parish.

Allied Waste will not run its residential garbage collection route tomorrow (2-4-11) in the city of Lafayette and unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish due to the anticipated hazardous weather conditions.

Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will run their garbage and recycling collection routes as usual on Monday, January 17, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will run their regularly scheduled garbage and recycling collection routes on Friday, Dec. 31.
