According to the American Automobile Association, gas prices have climbed a staggering 12 cents in just one week. AAA Fuel Analyst Don Redman says the current statewide average of $3.52 a gallon is the result of rising crude prices. Redman says the market might stabilize once people start returning from their Fourth of July Holiday travels. He says unfortunately, prices in gasoline never seem to fall as fast as they rise. Redman believes the state wide averages will stay between $3.50 and $3.75 for the remainder of the summer. He says, however, this all could change if a Hurricane enters the Gulf of Mexico.
