Friday, October 30, Glenn Fleming one of the owners of Acadiana Gun Works joined Bernadette Lee and Brandon Comeaux for another edition of "Firearms Friday" on KPEL where he talked about the four basic rules of gun safety.

Fleming says there are four basic laws of gun safety that everyone should always keep in mind:

  • The gun is always loaded.
  • Never point a gun at something you are not prepared to destroy.
  • Always be sure of your target and what's behind it.
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on the target.

Fleming says this is especially true if you have a gun in your home.

Another topic of discussion during Friday morning's show was the latest court action associated with the New York Safe Act.  Fleming says 2nd U.S. Circuit Judge Jose A. Cabranes' ruling could lead to gun confiscation.

This episode of "Firearms Friday" has plenty of information about a variety of topics.

You can hear the show each Friday morning at 7:10 a.m. on KPEL.
