Heavy Rain Washes Out Acadia Parish Bridge
The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says last night's extreme weather had led to a bridge being washed out in their parish.
Spokeswoman Racheal Trahan reports that the bridge at Riverside Road and St. Jules was washed out.

Trahan says they want motorists to avoid this area.
She adds that you need to use extreme caution when travelling in this area and any other area that received flooding due to heave rain.
