Hurricane Preparedness Week Begins Tomorrow

Governor Bobby Jindal stated that this week is the start of Hurricane Preparedness Week.

Governor Jindal's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Director, Kevin James, says that the website getagameplan.org is where you can go to learn about being prepared for hurricanes.

The site includes plans for businesses, homes, kids, and more.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that this season, which lasts until November 30th, will be a normal season and should have anywhere from 9-15 storms. We have already seen two named storms so far.
