Looking for something fun to do this weekend and also be in the air conditioning? Get ready for the 36th annual Cajun Music and Food Festival which is happening at the Burton Coliseum in South Lake Charles.

The Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association puts this great festival on every year which features traditional Cajun music for all to enjoy. The festival is open for all ages so your entire family is invited to come.

Make plans to head over this weekend and enjoy shopping for arts and crafts. They will also have an auction and terrific authentic Cajun food. Of course, the main star of the festival is the music.

Artists like Jace Goulas, Cajun Strong, Hunter Courville, and Swampland Revival are all scheduled to perform live at the festival.  Admission is only $10 dollars for adults and kids under 10 and under get in for free.

Don’t forget that the day after the festival, head over to the CFMA building for the Cajun mass on Sunday starting at 9:00 am. This festival is brought to you by and sponsored by the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association whose purpose is to preserve and promote our Cajun Heritage.
