There are so many things to see when you attend Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The floats are great and even the people who attend the parades are even great to see if you're into people watching, however, there's a new attraction this year in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

A couple of days ago we introduced you to a new member of the New Orleans Police Department's mounted unit, Patch.

Patch is a small horse that is used by the NOPD an attraction and company, but what we did not know when we introduced to the small horse was that it would be in Mardi Gras parades.

Well, Patch has been spotted in a few parades already this year, and it is often escorted along the parade route by Superintendent Kirkpatick.

So, if you and the kids are in New Orleans for Mardi Gras parades this year, keep an eye out for this adorable little horse and if you see it, try your best to get a photo of Patch.

Patch got its name for wearing a patch at all times. You see, this new officer has only one eye, which makes it even more adorable.

Here's a look at Patch in a parade in New Orleans, now let's see if this can convince the Lafayette Police Dept. to find a small horse like Patch.

The following photos were posted on the Facebook account named after 'Patch" by NOPD.
