Parody Social Media Account Predicted Aaron Rodgers Injury Monday Night
The conspiracy theorists will love this one.
By now if you're a sports fan you know that the New York Jets lost their star Quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Monday night.
Rodgers had an opposing player fall on him and when he attempted to stand up, he went right back down on the turf. He was assisted off the field and while X-rays didn't find a break in his ankle, tests the next day found that Rodgers tore his Achilles.
When Rodgers went down, the field was wet as thunderstorms drenched the northeast on Monday night.
That all leads us to a Tweet by a parody account on the social media platform now known as "X".
Someone pretending to be David Zaslav, who is the CEO of Warner Bros. and Discovery sent out a Tweet or X saying that Rodegers would tear his Achilles on the wet turf inside of Metlife Stadium on Monday night.
The message was sent out hours prior to kickoff and now that parody account has since been suspended. However, many suggest that the account may have been suspended due to the person's language and conduct on the social media platform.
Apparently, whoever was running that parody account got into several disputes with others responding to his or her Tweet.
Aaron Rodgers is out for the season after only playing four plays for the New York Jets, and here's the Tweet or "X" that predicted his downfall.
Of course, those who think the NFL is rigged are having a "field day" with this prediction and some are claiming that the person who wrote this, also writes the script for NFL games.
