Fans of Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, you know LSU, will want to know the latest offering in fashionable "Tiger-styled" footwear has been officially unveiled by the sports retailer Fanatics. The unisex shoes will set you back about $139.99 for a pair. That price is comparable to other running shoes but you do pay a little extra for the "purple and the gold" embellishments, if you know what I mean.

As we mentioned the shoes are for both men and women and are available in a range of sizes from 3.5 to 15. If you choose to order there is a size chart on the Fanatics site that will help you fine-tune your sizing options.

The shoe itself is described as lightweight and durable with an emphasis on comfort. It has a mesh upper which will give the shoes a little extra breathability. That will come in handy during the early season tailgate parties and games when the weather is still very summerlike.

The rounded toe of the shoe also provides a more roomy fit for those with wide feet. The design seems to offer more wiggle room for your toes which will make standing on your feet and cheering for the Tigers easier to do. And yes, the shoe does feature the LSU colors and logo so when Alabama fans are hanging their heads after being whipped again, they'll still have to look at the purple and gold that is LSU.
