Louisiana Music Fans Here’s How to Get Free Hangout Fest Passes
There is a love of live music in Louisiana like no other place I have ever visited. It seems as if each community, large or small, always has a band playing on Friday night or a Grammy winner in residence. That's why the festival scene in Louisiana is so lively. We love our food, we love our music, and we love to hang out.
This puts us, Louisiana music fans, in a unique position to be a part of a festival that's not in our state but in a place we love to visit. That place is Gulf Shores, Alabama. During the summer months, Gulf Shores becomes an annex of Louisiana as we all flock to the shore for sun, sand, and live music. And if it's a festival in Gulf Shores, it's the 2024 Hangout Music Festival.
Hangout Fest as it's called by the locals always attracts several big names in many different genres of music. As you might imagine the cost of a ticket to this incredible festival is not cheap. Tickets for this year's festival begin at $359 but you will be treated to performances from Zach Bryan, Lana Del Ray, ODESZA, and many more. Including the Chainsmokers, Koe Wetzel, and Megan Moroney too. For the complete lineup, you can follow this link.
How Can I Get Free Tickets to Hangout Fest 2024?
The festival is expected to announce later today the details of its "Earn a Ticket Program". They are allowing individuals who sign up to earn free tickets for the event by volunteering in the community. Once such volunteer effort is being organized by the Alabama Coastal Foundation. Those who help clean the beaches can earn Hangout Tickets. But you'll need to sign up online. You can do that here.
The "Free Ticket" program is being hosted by Hangout partner Propeller. It is on a Propeller site that you sign up to volunteer. You can also earn the opportunity to participate in a Super VIP Sweepstakes that Propeller and Hangout Festival are offering. That package is valued at over $9,000.
