Jace Conrad might not be playing for the Ragin' Cajuns anymore, but he's still grinding for his minor league club. How about an inside the park home run?

Conrad is quickly becoming a fan favorite for the Bowling Green Hot Rods, making plays like he did wearing the vermilion and white. Bunt singles, diving grabs, sacrifices...Conrad always did whatever it took to satisfy his insane competitive edge. When he got the call to pinch hit in the eighth inning, the fans should have prepared themselves for a little drama...and a victory.

When the ball leaves his bat, Conrad starts running. When he sees the outfielder dive and miss the ball, he starts running harder. Approaching third base, there is only one thing on his mind: cross home plate and finish the game with a walk-off win, 8-7.

If he keeps making plays like this, Conrad should see himself work his way through the minor leagues. One thing to learn from this video: #grinders will grind, no matter what jersey they wear.
