Jeanerette Fire Department Drop-Off Point for United Cajun Navy
The Jeanerette Fire Department is serving as a drop-off location for donations to the United Cajun Navy.
According to a post on Facebook, the fire department will accept beverages, snacks, wipes, bug repellent, and sunblock to support the search for crew members from the Seacor Power.
The Jeanerette Fire Department said that they would like to receive the items before the end of the day on Thursday so that the items can be on the road by Friday. Their office is located at 1436 Church St, Jeanerette, LA 70544.
The United Cajun Navy, staffed by volunteers from around the state, are using private vessels to search for the missing crew members of the Seacor Power, the lift boat that overturned in rough waters on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021.
