Kaplan Police Arrest Lafayette Suspect

This weekend, Kaplan Police were able to arrest a woman wanted in Lafayette on allegations that she was involved in a beating, robbery and attempted kidnapping.

Three other people have already been arrested in connection with the case.

In Lafayette Christmas Day, police allege that 18-year-old Gabriella Duhon and her sister, Hailey Altman, lured Duhon's former boyfriend to a park where they kidnapped, robbed and beat him.

Altman, along with her boyfriend Alex Arceneaux, and his brother Ethan Guidry, are said to have beat up the victim with Guidry taking shots at him but missing him.

The victim was able to get away and was treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Police have been searching for Duhon since Christmas Day.
