The three councilman who authored an ordinance to end the Safe Light/Safe Speed program were among the decision makers last night who now have deferred action on the ordinance until the first of May.   Last night the Council Chairman, Jared Bellard, announced that the item will now be put on the agenda for next Tuesday night's meeting, March 27th, which will give members of the public a chance to voice their opinions on the program.

Council member Andy Naquin joined "Mornings with Ken and Bernie" today to talk about last night's meeting, and his personal thoughts on the Safe Light/Safe Speed program.

It will now be May before the ordinance dealing with ending the program will come up for a vote of the council.
