Lafayette Police Make An Arrest In Infant Death

A man who bought a Verot School Road storage unit made a grisly discovery. After opening the storage unit the new owner was going through several boxes and discovered what he thought was the body of a infant. Lafayette Police detectives developed 57 year old Rebecca Landry of Lafayette as a suspect. Today Landry was arrested and charged with second degree murder. The investigation is ongoing.
