LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- Pranks seem to get more and more creative these days, and that trend continued last weekend at the Lafayette Regional Airport.

Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton said Tuesday afternoon that a pig's head was left on the hood of a car at the airport.

The culprit? According to KATC TV-3, "a group of pranksters left the boar's bust as a prank on the driver of the car."

Mouton said because there was no criminal intent, no charges were filed in the prank.

The jokesters apologized for any inconvenience they may have caused the driver.
