Lafayette School Board Member Mark Cockerham To Run For Re-election

District 7 Lafayette Parish School Board member Mark Cockerham has decided to run for re-election in November.

"I have decided to run for my final term to support Dr. Coopers turn around plan and to help provide leadership to the new board," said Cockerham in an email to the media. "This was a difficult decision considering the crazy year the board has had."

As of now, there are no announced opponents for Cockerham's seat.

"I am 100% committed to his district and parish."
