Lafayette Authorities Investigating Apparent Suicide

A woman who was preparing to be sentenced for mail fraud was found dead early this morning. Lafayette Sheriff's Authorities say Danielle Guidroz of Youngsville has died of an apparent suicide. She was to be sentenced today for stealing nearly $2 million from her employer, Holloway Drilling Equipment and Holloway Rentals in Broussard. Guidroz faced up to 20 years in prison. Police are investigating.
