Lafayette City Police are still looking for a man suspected of robbing a Verot School Road convenience store Thanksgiving night.

According to Corporal Paul Mouton of the Lafayette Police Department a black male in his late 20's or early 30's entered the store in the 2900 block of Verot at approximately 10:00pm.  He produced a handgun and demanded money.  Nobody was injured and the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect was wearing a black jacket and some sort of red covering on his head.  If you know the whereabouts of this person or have any information concerning the robbery you're asked to call the the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
