Lane Closures Scheduled For Interstate 49 Next Week

A spraying operation by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will mean there will be some lane closures on Interstate 49 next week.

DOTD officials saying there will be alternating lane closures on Interstate 49 in both Lafayette and St. Landry parishes for spraying.

The spraying is a herbicide to help control the grass.

The work will take place from 8 o'clock in the morning until 3 o'clock in the afternoon from Tuesday, July 12 through Thursday, July 14.

There are no detours required for any vehicles.
