(Lafayette, Louisiana) - If you will be hitting the highway next week, you will want to note the following closure information from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

I-10 Eastbound Exit Ramp at Exit 100 -US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Parkway) will be closed on the following nights:

  • (CANCELLED) - Sunday, July 28 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, July 29 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
  • Monday, July 29 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, July 30 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 ramp.

Motorists traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on I-10 to Exit 101 – North University, turn north on LA 182, then take I-10 Eastbound to Exit 100 - US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at Exit 100 - US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy).

Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
