Legislators To Meet With Lafayette School Board Officials Friday

This Friday morning, members of the Lafayette Parish School Board, staff and Lafayette Parish School Superintendent are slated to meet during a breakfast to talk about the Special Session and the upcoming Regular Session of the Legislature.

Lafayette Parish School Board officials say they will have a variety of state representatives and state senators on hand to talk about the impact that current and proposed legislation will have on education in the parish.

Friday's two hour event will be held at the W.D. & Mary Baker Smith Career Center on 18th Street.
