Littering Leads To Abbeville Drug Arrests

Vermilion Parish Drug Agents were on patrol when they noticed a man acting suspiciously in the back seat of a vehicle - ducking down and sitting back up as police were looking at him.

After he threw a can of Red Bull out of the back window, authorities stopped the car and say they found suspected marijuana on the man. The man, Zachary Marceaux of Abbeville, was arrested along with the driver, Gene Zenon Jr. also of Abbeville, after police say they found crack cocaine in the rear seat, exactly where Marceaux was ducking down. Once booked, Zenon was also served with several other warrants for other criminal offenses.

Total bond has been set for just over $27,000.
