Let's be real, none of us are actually ready for Christmas. 2020 is like a wreck that keeps on wrecking. However, there is one person in my life who has stood by me and cheered me on, even if it's as I tumble down, he'll find a way to spin it and be like "But you were the first one to make it down the hill great job!". What's worse is that my better half is an excellent gift giver. What can I possibly gift my biggest cheerleader?

Like many other women in the Ark-La-Tex, I have to show him that although 2020 sucked, I love him and I thought long and hard on what to get him for Christmas. The problem that I didn't realize I would face is the time. I was so wrapped up wondering what personalized gift I could find for him that I didn't think of a realistic timeline. I reached out to some local businesses to find out when their cutoff dates are for ordering personalized gifts and here is what I found.

The Barnes Blueprint: They specialize in cornhole boards and are currently taking orders for Christmas gifts until December 15th. One of the owners Taylor said "We are thrilled that so many people want to personalize gifts this year, however, this means that we need to get started on all personalized items now due to the time it takes to get the pieces done."

MCG Wood and Metal Works: This veteran-owned company is busy busting out personalized wooden flags, grills, firepits, and home decor. Due to the high demand of personalized gifts, Shayne McGinty said they will have to quit taking all custom orders on December 1st. He did say that they will have plenty of popular items in stock like the American flag, thin blue line flags, and LSU, and Saints decor. Check out their gallery by clicking here.
