Louisiana Anxiously Awaiting Next Cool Front
It has been unseasonably warm this November in Louisiana, but things could soon change.
Like so many of you, I too have been waiting for cooler nights so that we can enjoy the patio, without mosquitoes, and the light fire pit.
We had a few strong cool fronts in October, but so far this November has been warm and muggy. Some have suggested on social media that November in Louisiana feels more like June, and they aren't wrong in saying it.
However, things could be changing by late next week as there appears to be a cool front pushing further South.
According to the Weather Channel's extended forecast the high next Thursday, November 14th, will be in the mid-70s, with the lows in the upper 40s. Cooler nights in Acadiana will be much welcome, and further down the road, we could see even cooler temperatures as we approach Thanksgiving.
So, If you've been hoping for cooler nights and days this November, an early Christmas gift could be on its way as we enter mid-to-late November.
Remember, hurricane season officially ends at the end of this month. Let the cool fronts continue to, "Come on down."
