Louisiana Worst State For Working Moms – WalletHub Study

According to a recently completed study, Louisiana is the worst state in the nation for working mothers. WalletHub used 12 key metrics including salary, unemployment rates and day care quality in it's rankings.

Louisiana ranked:

• 48th in day care quality
• 34th in access to pediatric services
• 50th in gender pay gap ( women compared to men )
• 44th in ratio of female to male executives
• 24th in unemployment
• 40th in length of the average woman's workday
• 47th in percentage of single-mom families living in poverty
